Hemp Protein Chia Seed Wraps without Egg
Total Time: 20 Minutes
•Yellow or Green Plantain: 7 ounces (remove peels)
•Hemp Protein Powder: ¼ cup
•Baking soda: ½ teaspoon
•Hemp seeds: ¼ cup
•Baking powder: ½ teaspoon
•Water: 12 tablespoons
•Chia Seeds: ¼ cup
•Chick Peas: ¼ cup
You may add in any vegetables you feel is necessary! If you do not want to make the Chia Seed wrap, you may choose to substitute this with Collard Greens or your preferred vegetable for wrapping!
1.Preheat your oven to exactly 350°F.
2.In the first step, you have to make a chia gel. Take chia seeds and put them in a bowl. Add 12 tablespoons of water to chia seeds and keep soaked seeds aside for 10 minutes to create a texture similar to a gel.
3.Carefully peel plantain and put in a blender along with baking powder, baking soda, hemp protein and hemp seeds. Add chia seed gel in the blender.
4.Blend all ingredients for a few minutes to get a consistent blend.
5.Pour this blend over a cookie sheet and spread this blend. Bake this blend in your preheated oven for almost 20 to 25 minutes until firm.
